SNOWBOARDING WITH A LEAKY TAMPON HELP!!!!!?
So I went snowboarding earlier this year and I'm going to Windells for snowboard camp next week.
The problem: I snowboarded with a tampon on last time (put it in around 7:30am. felt it leaking around 12pm) and it leaked.
Luckily, I wore black snowboard pants, but I had a pair of blue thermal pants on too and those were stained. I guess the snow/water that got into my pants make the period stuff diluted?
But my question is: How do I prevent this from happening at camp????? (I'm wearing white pants..)
and, I've been taking 1000-1500mg of Vitamin C for the past 2 days, trying to induce my period (last time it came: at least 5 weeks ago. And I'm 16.

You could have just said, "is there a way to defer my period?"
Yes there is. Ask your GP for progesterone Norethisterone. This needs to be taken 2-3 days before your period is due and should defer it. The usual dose is about 5mg t.d.s and that can be continued for up to two weeks or until you want to have a period. You will then have a bleed 3-4 days after you stop taking the drug.
Basically Norethisterone is a synthetic progestogen hormone. Progesterone is the hormone which maintains the lining of the womb. Just before you have your period, there is a drop in progesterone levels which allows the lining of the uterus to be shed. If you take norethisterone (synthetic hormone), the lining of the uterus is maintained, so no drop in hormone levels and no bleed.
...Or you could simply change your tampon more often and perhaps wear a sanitary towel too, it's up to you.
