Im going skiing this break and im in confusion?
Im going skiing this break at butternut. Im not that great of a skier. Im gonna be with a lot of my friends. Do you think that i should ski or snowboard? What do u think is easier and more fun to do? What should i wear when sking or snowboarding? I hate having to like bundle up cause its annoying!
I would agree, take a skiing lesson and wear several layers. Check the weather ahead of time and plan accordingly. Also try using hand warmers and toe warmers when possible. They will help a lot, especially if you may fall. The wet snow will not affect you nearly as much then. Also if you have under armor, that generally keeps you fairly well insulated. Do not wear blue jeans, as they will freeze. I usually wear under armor, some sort of sweat pants, and snow pants. As well as a shirt, sweatshirt, winter coat, and gloves with hand warmers. For your face, a gator is good to keep the snow off your neck and chin, hat and goggles are a must, at least something to cover your eyes. I would personally suggest skiing, if you have started with it, keep going with it, it is harder to try and switch back and forth. I personally have been skiing since I was 3, and find it to be a better time in general. Just relax and have a good time with it, you're with friends.
