Heel lift and snowboard boots?
My heels lift up some out of my boots when snowboarding. The problem isn't that I need a smaller size boot, bc my toes are already squished. They just don't fit right. I have Northwave Topaz boots women's size 5.5. It stinks because I would be so much better if my heels stayed in.
I'm getting new boots, does anyone know from experience which brands are good to eliminate heel lift? Also would it make a difference if I got a kids boot instead of a women's boot?
Let me know what you have tried to fix heel lift and what works best. Thanks!
Maybe you don't have the strength in your hands to pull the heel locking section of the laces tight enough. My girlfriend had this same problem so I got her boots with a BOA system. She can get the boots nice and tight without trying too hard. Try the new DC system with 2 BOA dials, one for the upper and one for the lower. Then you can customize your fit a little more.
Before you buy new boots you should go to a good sports shoe store and buy some heel raisers. They are like a little foam wedge you put in the heel of your shoes/boots and usually have one sticky side to stop them moving. I put them in a pair of boots that I had heel raise problems with and it fixed it.
