Intelligence Snowboard
Good "all-mountain" snowboard?

I've owned Burton Custom & currently use a Head Intelligence board.

I'm looking to buy a new/used board and am looking for input for a new type of board.

I'm around 190-195# geared up & primarily just like to carve. I do go off jumps occasionally, but don't do rails, etc. My previous boards were 158's but I'm thinking I'll probably need something more along the 161-162 range.

What boards should I look into & what do you think their advantages/disadvantages are?

I like the boards I've used, but don't want to deal with Burton's proprietary mounting system. I've heard mixed opinions on Forum as well. I'd like something reasonably light, but not featherweight.

Thanks for any help.

A 158 would still be fine unless you're thinking of truely going freeride exclusive and are thinking of making some backcountry style runs. Anyways I'd take a look at the Neversummer SL-R it's one of the top all-mountain sticks, real solid in carving and isn't a complete noodle so it'll handle the mountain conditions. A few others by neversummer you may like would be the Premier F1-R or Summit.

A few other all-mountain setups you'll probably like

Libtech travis Rice
K2 Turbodream
Flow Era
