Which snowboard should I use out of the 2 i have, they are both complete opposites..?
So my brother moved away and left his snowboard, and he doesn't mind me using it, and I have my own snowboard. I'm going snowboarding soon and I was wondering which one to ride.
I am:a
6'0'' away
185lbs
size 12 boots
His snowboard:
Some high quality board, not sure the compagny but its good.
159cm
K2 bindings
its not waxed (well it needs to be waxed)
And the sides of the board are dulled (the like carving metal) but the nose/tip is sharp-ish.
My board:
Lamar cheap-ish board, beginner
154cm
Fully waxed
Fully sharpened
And the bindings would be the same as my brothers one (The stock lamar bindings dont fit my boots..) So k2 bindings
So which one would be good for me? Im just going to a small all-mountain ski hill, ur average hill. And I'm fairly okay at snowboarding, i know all the basics.
And is it hard to change bindings from one board to another? I can take them off and on, but how tight do i tight the bolts, is it dangerous etc.. Thanks!!
I would go with your board since it is waxed and sharpened. switching bindings isn't that hard to do. just know which screws go where. i do it all the time, just make sure that they are tight. but on the other side, if you don't want to ride your board im sure that the ski place will sharpen and wax your board for you (any where from 25 to 75 dollars).
